Como actuar al estar en contacto estrecho con una persona que contrajo coronavirus
La directora general de la Coordinación Epidemiológica, Analía Acevedo, explicó que se llama contacto estrecho a «alguien que compartió con una persona que contrajo el virus mientras estaba sintomática, o durante las 48 horas previas al inicio de síntomas; a menos de dos metros de distancia y sin barbijo durante 15 minutos o más».
Como medidas preventivas, el Ministerio de Salud Pública insta a la persona a aislarse, aunque no presente síntomas. El tiempo del aislamiento dependerá si fue inoculada contra el coronavirus o no.
* Si la persona tiene el esquema inicial de vacunación completo, es decir las dos dosis, debe cumplir aislamiento durante cinco días, y luego debe extremar los cuidados por cinco días más.
* Si no se ha vacunado o tiene el esquema incompleto, debe cumplir aislamiento por 10 días; o bien aislarse 7 días, realizarse un test diagnóstico al séptimo día y luego extremar los cuidados por tres días más.
* Si la persona vive con su grupo familiar, debe mantener el aislamiento dentro de una habitación y no tener contacto con sus convivientes, no recibir visitas ni compartir con nadie el mate, cubiertos, vasos, tazas, toallas ni objetos de uso personal.
Ante la aparición de síntomas como tos, dolor de garganta, fiebre, dificultad para respirar, dolor de cabeza, dolor muscular, diarrea, vómitos, rinitis, congestión nasal; o ante la pérdida repentina del olfato o del gusto, debe descargar la aplicación SaltaCovid, registrarse y reportar sus síntomas. Además, se puede comunicar telefónicamente a la línea de Atención Ciudadana 148.
